Database Administrator
Technology Team:
The Technology team is responsible for creating and maintaining all of Integrity’s web and multi-media products and Integrity’s enterprise delivery platforms and applications for the Company’s Ethics and Compliance Risk Services. It is responsible for deploying these products globally to Fortune 500 clients.
Responsibilities:
Essential responsibility is to maintain all aspects of the Company’s production database operations, which includes overseeing and managing day-to-day operation of databases containing secure client information from a number of clients. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establish processes to effectively manage online and batch production operations;
- Provide 24x7 support and meet client SLA requirements;
- Create, review, and manage operational processes to ensure consistency, reliability, accessibility and performance; ensure data security and best practices so that operational controls are maintained;
- Ensure a proper system management environment to monitor and alarm all critical database operations;
- Complete or participate in other projects, as required.
Qualifications:
This is a position that requires hands-on experience and leadership. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in related area of study or five plus years equivalent experience as a DBA; advanced degree is a plus. Five plus years of experience that includes capacity planning, forecasting, disaster recovery planning and implementation, and business continuity; experience with monitoring remote management solutions. Due to the global scope and scale of clients, this position requires flexibility, ability and willingness to work off-hours. The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Demonstrated competence to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects while maintaining operational excellence and data integrity within a tight timeframes;
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a high degree of integrity and discretion required; must be able to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical team members and have the ability to supervise others;
- Proven experience managing a commercial database production environment
- Requires the following technical skills: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 experience is essential; T-SQL experience, SQL Server replication, backups, and disaster recovery, database tuning and performance, and Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 a plus;
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment with the ability to work independently and with the team; and
- Understand and support the Company’s goals, business and values.

Reporting:
Will report to the Vice President, Global Support Services and will work closely with all members of the QA, Development and Client Services teams, and others throughout the Company as needed.
Location:
Waltham, Massachusetts; position may require occasional overnight travel.
