Biography

Michael Aylward is a Senior Partner at Morrison Mahoney LLP and a leading industry lecturer and writer on insurance, ethics, and bad-faith claims. He has served as coordinating counsel and trial counsel for numerous primary and excess liability insurers in coverage disputes and appeals throughout the United States. Michael has served on the national Board of Directors of the Defense Research Institute (2000-2003) and is the former chair of the DRI Insurance Law Committee (2000-2002). He currently chairs the Reinsurance, Excess, and Surplus Line Insurance Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
