John Grayston qualified as an English Solicitor but has spent most of his career based in Brussels specialising in all forms of EU Regulatory law. He is registered at the Brussels Bar (EU list). He has in-depth experience of all aspects of EU Regulatory law including competition law (cartels, distribution law, merger control and State aid), EU and international trade and customs law, EU and national export and trade controls.
John established Grayston & Company in 2007 to pursue the objective of providing cost effective specialist legal and technical advice on EU regulation. Prior to founding Grayston & Company John was the resident managing partner of the Brussels offices of first Taylor Joynson Garrett (now Taylor Wessing) and subsequently of Eversheds LLP. John also remains a consultant to Eversheds on International Trade and Commerce issues.
