Biography

Mr. Kornbichler is based in the Munich office of Lovells LLP. He is admitted as a qualified specialist in employment law (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht) and is a member of the Group of Labour Law Specialists in the German Lawyers' Association (DAV). He advises national and international clients on both individual and corporate employment law and focuses primarily on the employment law aspects of M&As and corporate restructuring. His work covers the drafting of merger contracts, negotiating with works councils on redundancy packages (Sozialpläne) and reconciliation plans (Interessenausgleiche), as well as court action on employment termination cases where he represents clients in labour courts throughout Germany. He is a regular lecturer at seminars and has published various articles on labour law issues in professional magazines. Mr. Kornbichler is co-publisher and co-author of the Handbook on Standard Forms for German Employment Law (Beck'sches Formularbuch für Arbeitsrecht).
